Karnataka runs the largest private Ayurvedic (BAMS) college network most Northeast India families ever look at. We compiled our 2026-27 counselling fee-package sheet across 25 Karnataka AMCs and ranked them by total management-quota package, from ₹15,50,000 at Shri Bidarur Institute of Ayurveda to ₹25,00,000 at Sri Sri College of Ayurvedic Science and Research, Bengaluru. The range that matters. Management quota BAMS packages across these 25 Karnataka colleges run from ₹15,50,000 to ₹25,00,000 for the full course, all excluding hostel and mess (quoted on the sheet from ₹50,000 to ₹1,50,000 per college, billed separately). The table shows the 2026-27 college-wise BAMS fee structure we hold, ranked by the management quota course package. Two colleges an hour apart can differ by ₹5–6 lakh over the same course. The amount actually payable for your seat is the one notified by KEA and charged by the college for your quota, so always compare it with KEA’s notified figure, and pay only into the college’s official account against a receipt. Fees can change, and add-ons marked as extra on the sheet are separate.
Our research also found real inconsistencies in publicly available information for several of these colleges — conflicting seat-intake numbers, provisional founding years, and in one case a fee-sheet location that did not match the college's own registered address. Each college's own page discloses exactly what we could and could not verify, rather than smoothing over the gaps.

No. Every package total on this page and on each college's individual page excludes hostel and mess, which are billed separately and vary by college -- quoted on our sheet from ₹50,000 to ₹1,50,000 per college. Caution deposits, university registration and examination fees are also separate. Click through to a college's own page for its specific hostel/mess figure.
Through Karnataka's AYUSH-UG counselling on your NEET UG 2026 rank -- the same basic structure as MBBS counselling through KEA, but on the AYUSH portal and AYUSH seat matrix. Government, private and management quota seats are all filled by rank and category; no college or consultant can offer you a seat outside that process.
Because we would rather tell you a fact is unverified than publish a confident guess. Several of these Ayurvedic colleges are small, recently established, or have official websites that were unreachable during our research, and public sources conflict on basic facts like founding year or seat intake for a number of them. Where that is the case, the college's page says so directly and points you to OEF for direct verification, rather than smoothing over the gap.
For many students, yes. Assam's own government Ayurvedic college has very few seats, so Karnataka's much larger private AMC network -- 25 colleges on our sheet -- gives Northeast NEET UG candidates a genuine, full-fledged medical degree route with total course packages mostly between ₹15.5 and ₹25 lakh, well below equivalent MBBS management quota fees.
