Our earlier text showed 1 October as the closing date for Round 3 registration, editing, choices and locking. The official UHSR Public Notice No. UHSR/Acad/A-III/2026/8174 (24 September 2026) and the UHSR admission portal both say 28 September to 10 October 2026, up to 11:59 PM. We have corrected every place on this page. The vacant-seat matrix below was published on 1 October, which also shows the window is still open.

Without the security amount you are not eligible for Round 3. If you join your seat, it is adjusted in the first-year tuition fee. If you are allotted a seat as per your choice and do not join, it is forfeited and you cannot take part in a further or stray round. Who must do what. Candidates already registered for Round 1 and Round 2 who wish to participate in Round 3 need not register again. Candidates must check their own Round 1 and Round 2 allotment status online — a candidate who does not do so is not eligible for Round 3. A candidate who joined a seat in Round 1 or Round 2 and gives an upgrade willingness in Round 3 should be aware that if the upgrade goes through and the earlier seat is vacated, that vacated seat becomes available for Round 3 allotment to someone else.
Caution/security deposit — exact amounts. The notice requires candidates participating in Round 3 for State Quota seats in Government/Government Aided colleges, or for seats under Private University Management/State Quota, to deposit an online security amount before participating. The amount is Rs 10,000 (Rs 5,000 for SC/SCD/BCA/BCB/EWS/PwBD of Haryana) if you want State Quota seats only in Government/Government Aided colleges, and Rs 1,00,000 if you also want State/Management Quota seats in private colleges, including private universities. Pay only on the UHSR admission portal.

Resign a Joined Seat,

UHSR Rohtak has informed all candidates who have joined their allotted institutes for MBBS/BDS admission (Government/Government Aided/Private Medical and Dental Educational institutions in Haryana, including the four named private universities), Academic Session 2026-27, that they can resign from a seat joined up to Round 2, up to 3 October 2026, upto 4:00 PM.
Candidates must submit their resignation to the person in charge at their respective allotted college — the notice is explicit that no emails will be considered for this purpose. The notice is signed by the Dean Academic Affairs-cum-Chairman, Admission Committee.
This resignation window is separate from, and closes before, the Round 3 registration/choice-locking window above (28 September – 10 October 2026). If you joined a seat in Round 1 or Round 2 and want to resign it rather than seek an upgrade through Round 3, go to your allotted college in person, well before 4:00 PM on 3 October 2026.

We have not read the contents of this list — only that it has been published and where; check it yourself at uhsrugcounselling.com/Images/Notifications/180.PDF for your own name and status.
Two Round 2 deadlines close today, 20 September 2026: reporting at the allotted institute ends today, up to 4:00 PM, and downloading of the provisional admission letter also ends today (no specific time stated for the letter-download deadline). This confirms — it does not change — the last date of joining/reporting already fixed at 20 September 2026, 4:00 PM, by UHSR's 9 September Round 2 tentative schedule (Notice No. UHSR/Acad./A-III/2026/8200), and the 17–20 September admission-letter download window from the same notice.
Sequence so far: document verification closed 19 September 2026, 4:00 PM → eligible candidate list published (UHSR Notification No. 180) → reporting and provisional admission letter download both close today, 20 September 2026. If you have not yet reported at your allotted institute or downloaded your provisional admission letter, do so before 4:00 PM today — treat this as an absolute deadline, not a rolling window.

UHSR Rohtak has issued a FINAL cut-off for Round 2 document verification. Public Notice No. UHSR/Acad./A-III/2026/8681, dated 17 September 2026, “Final Opportunity for Document Verification MBBS/BDS Round-2,” is addressed to all candidates who have failed to get their documents verified, or who need a document deficiency removed (if any), for seats provisionally allotted for MBBS/BDS courses, Academic Session 2026-27, in Round 2.
Such candidates are given a FINAL opportunity to get their documents verified, or their document deficiency removed, up to 19 September 2026, till 4:00 PM, positively, at the Sushruta Auditorium, Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak. The notice is explicit that candidates who fail to comply will have their provisionally allotted seat cancelled. The notice is signed by the Dean Academic Affairs-cum-Chairman, Admission Committee.
This confirms, as a hard final word, the document-verification cut-off already set by UHSR's 9 September Round 2 schedule (Notice No. UHSR/Acad./A-III/2026/8200), which listed physical document verification as running 17–19 September 2026. Do not treat 19 September as merely the last day of a rolling window — treat 4:00 PM on 19 September 2026 as an absolute deadline with seat-cancellation consequence for anyone who has not completed verification or cleared a document deficiency by then.

Who must do what. Fresh candidates not registered in Round 1 can register now. Candidates already registered in Round 1 need not register again. But every Round 1-allotted or Round 1-joined candidate must give their willingness/upgrade option online for Round 2 — failing to do so means they will not be considered eligible for Round 2 at all. A candidate who joined a Round 1 seat keeps the right to that seat unless upgraded during Round 2, but must still submit fresh choices, in order of preference, for any seat they wish to upgrade to; participating in Round 2 does not put an already-joined seat at risk unless the candidate is upgraded to a different one.
Security deposit is two-tier. Candidates — whether already registered (regardless of admission status) or freshly registering — who want only State Quota seats in Government/Government Aided Medical and Dental Colleges must deposit ₹10,000 online (₹5,000 for SC/SC-D/BCA/BCB/EWS/PwBD candidates of Haryana State). Any candidate who also wants to opt for State Quota or Management Quota seats in Private Medical/Dental Colleges, including the four Private Universities, must instead deposit ₹1,00,000 (₹1 Lakh) online, via login ID on the admission web portal.

These four closing items were shared with us today via a counselling update, without an accompanying image or its own dated notice number. Because the closing date and time themselves were already fixed by UHSR's own 9 September notice, this update carries lower risk than a fully provisional claim — it confirms rather than contradicts the published schedule. Still, do not wait: complete registration, editing, security deposit and choice-locking on uhsrugcounselling.com well before 11:59 PM tonight, since portals can slow down or become unresponsive close to a deadline.

Online deposit of the provisional tuition fee runs 2 to 5 September 2026, up to 5:00 PM, through the admission web portal only. Every candidate must appear in person with original documents on their allotted category's day, at the Sushruta Auditorium, Pt. B.D. Sharma UHS, Rohtak, from 9:00 AM — candidates who don't appear in person are simply not considered further. The last date of reporting at the allotted institute is 9 September 2026, up to 4:00 PM.
BCA/BCB candidates must bring their non-creamy-layer certificate per the Haryana Government notification dated 16.07.2024 (issued on or after 01.04.2026). SC/SC-D/ESM/FF/EWS/PwBD candidates must bring their caste/category certificate per the Haryana Government notification dated 27.08.2026. How low did Round 1 actually close? Across every category and institute combined — government medical colleges, private colleges and the four named universities — the lowest NEET UG 2026 score that secured any Round 1 seat was 189 marks, an NRI-category MBBS seat at Bhagat Phool Singh Government Medical College for Women, Khanpur Kalan, Sonepat. That figure is the overall floor across all reserved and NRI categories combined, not the Open (general) category cutoff at a government medical college, which closed considerably higher — check your own name and roll number in the published allotment list for your exact standing, since a single combined number does not tell you where your own category stood.

This schedule held, and UHSR has since confirmed the exact category-wise verification days. Every date UHSR originally called “tentative” in its 27 August notice went ahead exactly as planned: registration, provisional allocation, grievance redressal, fee deposit and the joining deadline all landed on the dates shown above. The category-wise document-verification schedule promised separately has also now been published (Notice No. UHSR/Acad./A-III/2026/SPL-01, dated 2 September 2026) — see the breaking update above for your specific day by category. Round 2 now has its own tentative schedule (Notice No. UHSR/Acad./A-III/2026/8200, 9 September) — see the Round 2 section near the top of this page for the full dates.
Personal appearance is mandatory, not optional. The notice is explicit: candidates must personally appear with all original documents before the Admission Committee at UHSR Rohtak, and failing to do so means the candidature will simply not be considered — there is no stated remote or postal alternative for document verification.
What UHSR’s Notice
Does Not Tell You
This Round 1 Public Notice is a bare tentative schedule. It does not state a fee figure for any category, does not spell out the split between government-quota and management-quota seats at the named private universities, and does not state a domicile restriction or reservation policy anywhere in the schedule itself. As with most Indian states, Haryana's government medical and dental college seats are generally expected to split between a Haryana-domicile state quota and the 15% All India Quota that MCC fills on rank alone, with no domicile bar — but this specific notice does not restate that split, so treat it as a general pattern, not a confirmed fact for this cycle.
Private universities named in the notice — SGT University, Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Al-Falah University and Sanskaram School of Medical Sciences — typically run a wider management and NRI quota that can be open to candidates outside Haryana, alongside any government-quota seats routed through UHSR's counselling. Al-Falah University is specifically named a Minority Private University in the notice, which can carry its own separate minority-admission provisions. None of this is detailed in the Round 1 notice itself.
The honest read for a Northeast India candidate. Do not assume Haryana works the same way as a state you already know. Confirm directly with UHSR Rohtak (uhsr.ac.in) for the government-college quota split, and separately with the specific private university's admission office for its own fee and quota structure, before registering or paying any fee. Two further documents confirm and complete it: the Round-1 provisional allotment result (after redressal of grievances), dated 2 September 2026, listing every allotted candidate by NEET UG 2026 AIR, score, category, course and allotted institute; and Public Notice No. UHSR/Acad./A-III/2026/SPL-01, dated 2 September 2026, “For Physical Document Verification Round-1,” which sets the category-wise verification days (6 September: NRI/PwBD/ESM/FF/BCA/BCB; 7 September: OSC/SC-D/EWS/OPEN; 8 September: Management & Minority), the online tuition-fee deposit window (2–5 September, up to 5:00 PM), and the final reporting deadline (9 September, 4:00 PM) at the Sushruta Auditorium, UHSR Rohtak. On 12 September 2026, a counselling update — without an accompanying image or its own dated notice number — stated that Round 2 fresh registration, editing of submitted information, online security deposit, and choice filling & locking all end today at 11:59 PM. That closing date and time were already fixed by the 9 September Notice No. UHSR/Acad./A-III/2026/8200 described above, so this update confirms an already-known deadline rather than introducing a new one; only the specific wording and timing detail for today came via this secondary, lower-certainty channel. A fourth notice, Public Notice No. UHSR/Acad./A-III/2026/8681, dated 17 September 2026, “Final Opportunity for Document Verification MBBS/BDS Round-2,” signed by the Dean Academic Affairs-cum-Chairman, Admission Committee, is a genuine image-verified government-notice document on UHSR letterhead, carrying its own notice number and signature. It gives Round 2 candidates who have not yet had their documents verified, or who need a document deficiency removed, a FINAL opportunity to do so up to 19 September 2026, till 4:00 PM, positively, at the Sushruta Auditorium, UHSR Rohtak — stating plainly that failure to comply means the provisionally allotted seat will be cancelled. This is the authoritative, final-word cut-off for Round 2 document verification and supersedes any reading of the earlier 17–19 September window as open beyond 19 September, 4:00 PM. UHSR has since published, on its own admission portal, a document titled the Round 2 Eligible Candidate List after Physical Document Verification, at uhsrugcounselling.com/Images/Notifications/180.PDF, which we cite here as UHSR Notification No. 180 per the portal's own numbering; we have not opened or read this PDF's contents beyond confirming it exists at this published URL, so no candidate names, categories or counts from it are reproduced on this page. Same-day counselling updates, without independent notice numbers of their own, further state that today, 20 September 2026, is the last date for Round 2 reporting at the allotted institute (up to 4:00 PM) and for downloading the provisional admission letter — both consistent with, and not superseding, the reporting/joining date already fixed by Notice No. UHSR/Acad./A-III/2026/8200. A fifth notice, “Public Notice for Round-3 Schedule (MBBS/BDS Courses),” dated 24 September 2026, sets out the Round 3 fresh registration (28 September – 10 October 2026), provisional allocation (12 October), grievance redressal and fee deposit (12–14 October, upto 11:00 PM), document verification (15–16 October) and joining (17 October 2026, upto 4:00 PM) dates summarised above; it also requires an online security amount of Rs 10,000 (Rs 5,000 for SC/SCD/BCA/BCB/EWS/PwBD of Haryana) for State Quota seats only in Government/Government Aided colleges, or Rs 1,00,000 if the candidate also opts for State/Management Quota seats in private colleges including private universities. A sixth notice, Public Notice No. UHSR/Acad./A-III/2026/8973, also dated 24 September 2026, “Resignation After Round-2 (MBBS/BDS Courses),” signed by the Dean Academic Affairs-cum-Chairman, Admission Committee, permits any candidate who joined a seat allotted up to Round 2 to resign it, in person only to the person in charge at their allotted college, up to 3 October 2026, upto 4:00 PM — the notice states plainly that no emails will be considered for this purpose.

As per UHSR Public Notice No. UHSR/Acad/A-III/2026/8174 dated 24 September 2026, every candidate who wants to take part in Round 3 must deposit an online security amount. It is Rs 10,000 (Rs 5,000 for SC, SCD, BCA, BCB, EWS and PwBD candidates of Haryana) if you opt only for State Quota seats in Government or Government Aided medical or dental colleges, and Rs 1,00,000 if you also opt for State or Management Quota seats in private medical or dental colleges, including private universities. Without it you are not eligible for Round 3. It is adjusted in your first-year tuition fee if you join, forfeited if you are allotted a seat as per your choice and do not join, and returned if you are not allotted any seat.
UHSR published a tentative vacant seat matrix dated 1 October 2026 showing 619 vacant seats in Round 3: 473 MBBS and 146 BDS, including 298 NRI, 138 management and 10 minority seats. UHSR says changes, if any, will be uploaded before allocation of seats and advises candidates to fill the maximum number of choices. Round 3 registration, editing, choice filling and locking run from 28 September to 10 October 2026, 11:59 PM.
UHSR Rohtak opened Round 3 fresh registration, editing, choice submission and choice locking on 28 September 2026. All of these close on 10 October 2026 at 11:59 PM. Provisional allocation is on 12 October, document verification on 15 and 16 October, and the last date of joining is 17 October 2026, 4:00 PM. A Round 1 or Round 2 seat can be resigned in person up to 3 October 2026, 4:00 PM.
Today — 20 September 2026. UHSR Rohtak's Round 2 document verification closed on 19 September 2026, 4:00 PM (Public Notice No. UHSR/Acad./A-III/2026/8681). UHSR has since published the Round 2 Eligible Candidate List after Physical Document Verification (UHSR Notification No. 180, at uhsrugcounselling.com/Images/Notifications/180.PDF). Round 2 reporting at the allotted institute closes today, 20 September 2026, up to 4:00 PM, and downloading of the provisional admission letter also closes today. This confirms, rather than changes, the last date of joining already fixed at 20 September 2026, 4:00 PM, by UHSR's 9 September Round 2 tentative schedule (Notice No. UHSR/Acad./A-III/2026/8200). If you have not yet reported at your allotted institute or downloaded your provisional admission letter, do so before 4:00 PM today.

UHSR Rohtak's Public Notice No. UHSR/Acad./A-III/2026/8681, dated 17 September 2026 (“Final Opportunity for Document Verification MBBS/BDS Round-2”), gives a FINAL opportunity to candidates who have not yet got their Round 2 documents verified, or who need a document deficiency removed, to do so up to 19 September 2026, 4:00 PM, positively, at the Sushruta Auditorium, Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak. This is stated as a hard cut-off, not a further tentative date — the notice explicitly says candidates who fail to comply will have their provisionally allotted seat cancelled.
