KNRUHS has issued three merit-list corrections today, 11 September 2026 — an addendum to the Management Quota merit list, an addendum to the Competent Authority Quota merit list, and a corrigendum to the Management Quota merit list — each naming one specific candidate; see the update below. This lands on the same day the Management Quota (B & C/NRI) web-options window closes, 4:00 PM on 11 September 2026, at tspvtmedadm.tsche.in, with a University Fee due on allotment, and the same day BDS Round 1 reporting under Competent Authority Quota also closes, 4:00 PM. MBBS Round 1 reporting closed 8 September 2026, 4:00 PM. The cut-off table matches the national NEET figures exactly. What doesn't match is who can actually apply — Telangana runs a strict local-area rule most outstation families miss until it's too late.

Three separate single-candidate corrections have been issued to the Telangana MBBS/BDS merit lists for AY 2026-27. Each document is an addendum or corrigendum adding or correcting exactly one row on an existing merit list — not a fresh bulk list — so we name the candidate here, unlike the bulk merit lists elsewhere on this page, which we never reproduce.
1. Addendum to the Management Quota merit list. One candidate is added: S.No 1, Siddhi Pradeep Shetty, NEET UG 2026 Rank 826784, Roll No 3129102067, Category OC. If you are exercising Management Quota web-options before the 4:00 PM, 11 September deadline, this addition sits within your merit-list pool.
2. Addendum to the Competent Authority Quota merit list. One candidate is added: S.No 1, Srutha Keerthi Yadama, NEET UG 2026 Rank 153197, Roll No 4410102462, Category OC, Remarks: “Eligible as per Court Orders.” KNRUHS does not name the underlying case on the notice; if this is your name, carry a copy of the court order with your admission documents.
3. Corrigendum to the Management Quota merit list. One existing row is corrected: S.No 1, Chedupelly Deeksha Sahane, NEET UG 2026 Rank 1162499, Roll No 4216101172, Category SC — NRI status is now confirmed as Yes. This changes the fee category (C/NRI, not B) applicable to this candidate's own allotment; it does not alter anyone else's rank or category.
None of the three source notices carries its own separate notification number or date — they were received together on 11 September 2026 and are signed by the Registrar. If your name is not one of these three, this update does not change your own position on either merit list; verify your own status directly at tspvtmedadm.tsche.in or tsmedadm.tsche.in as applicable.

Final merit list is out for Management Quota — web-options are open now, closing 11 September. Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Telangana, notifies the conduct of the first phase of web-based counseling for admission into MBBS/BDS courses under Management Quota i.e. B & C/NRI Category for AY 2026-27, into affiliated Private Medical/Dental Colleges, Army College of Dental Sciences & Neelima Institute of Medical Sciences (affiliated to Anurag University). Candidates whose names are notified as eligible in the final merit list of MBBS/BDS Admissions under Management Quota, published on the KNRUHS website on 9 September 2026, are eligible to exercise web-options online from any computer with an internet connection.
Web-options window: from 5:30 PM on 9 September 2026 up to 4:00 PM on 11 September 2026, through https://tspvtmedadm.tsche.in/, as per the candidate's registration and eligibility for B & C/NRI categories. Candidates must exercise web-options for the MBBS/BDS seats in order of preference for course, college and category (B & C/NRI Category). Tuition fee is paid separately, directly at the respective Medical/Dental college, not to KNRUHS. It is fixed as notified by the Government of Telangana in G.O.Ms.No.98, HM&FW(C1) Dept., dated 7 August 2026. At Neelima Institute of Medical Sciences specifically, tuition fee is ₹16,50,000 per annum for B category and ₹24,75,000 per annum for C/NRI category.
The seat matrix is placed on knruhs.telangana.gov.in; candidates exercise web-options for all Medical/Dental Colleges affiliated to KNRUHS plus Neelima Institute of Medical Sciences through tspvtmedadm.tsche.in. Under G.O.Ms.No.130, HM&FW(C1) Dept., dated 27.09.2022, 85% of Management Quota B-category seats are reserved for local Telangana candidates and 15% are open to candidates from anywhere in India; unreserved seats are allotted first, followed by the local-reservation seats. MBBS seats at Neelima Institute of Medical Sciences are distributed under the Telangana State Private Universities (Establishment and Regulation) Act, 2018 (Act No. 11 of 2018). Allotment follows the selection procedure under G.O.Ms.No. 115 & 116 and G.O.Ms.No. 117 & 118, HM&FW(C1) Dept. dated 05.07.2017 and 20.07.2017, and subsequent amendments including G.O.Ms.No. 125 & 130 dated 22.09.2022 and 27.09.2022, and G.O.Ms.No. 33, HM&FW(C1) Dept.
Breaking · Government Quota (Competent Authority Quota) — BDS Round 1 Allotment
Both the MBBS and BDS Round 1 allotment reporting deadlines under Competent Authority Quota are now confirmed, and they are not the same date. This follows the same Round 1 process already reported on this page — provisional merit list 24 August, final merit list 28 August, web options 29 August to 1 September — and now confirms both courses' reporting windows. MBBS Round 1 reporting closes 8 September 2026, 4:00 PM (today). BDS Round 1 reporting closes later, 11 September 2026, 4:00 PM. Check your individual allotment status at tsmedadm.tsche.in and confirm which course's deadline applies to you before you travel.

KNRUHS has published an Ineligible Candidates List for Management Quota, following the 2–4 September reopened registration window. If your name appears on this list, check the stated reason directly on the notification at tspvtmedadm.tsche.in — do not wait for a phone call or an email. Any grievance regarding the Ineligible Candidates List can be sent on or before 9 September 2026, 12:00 Noon — there is no stated route to raise it after that window closes.

Management Quota B & C/NRI registration is open again, 2 to 4 September. Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Telangana, in continuation of its earlier notification dated 12.08.2026, has reopened online registration for MBBS/BDS admission under Management Quota in Private Medical & Dental Colleges affiliated to KNRUHS, and at Neelima Institute of Medical Sciences (affiliated to Anurag University). That registration had closed on 20.08.2026; it is reopened from 6:00 AM on 2 September 2026 up to 2:00 PM on 4 September 2026, at https://tspvtmedadm.tsche.in, in view of several requests received from candidates.
Candidates who have qualified NEET UG 2026 by securing the cut-off score or above are informed to submit their online applications for MBBS/BDS admission under Management Quota within this window. Candidates who have already submitted their applications need not register again. For other details, KNRUHS refers candidates back to its earlier notification and prospectus, displayed on the KNRUHS website on 12.08.2026.

Final merit list is out — web options are open now, 29 August to 1 September. Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Telangana, notifies the conduct of the first phase of web-based counselling for admission into MBBS courses under Competent Authority Quota into Government, Private un-aided Non-Minority & Minority medical colleges affiliated to KNRUHS, for AY 2026-27. Candidates whose certificates were uploaded at registration and provisionally verified, and whose names are notified as eligible in the final merit list of UG Medical admissions published on the KNRUHS website on 28 August 2026, are eligible to exercise web options online. This covers all eligible candidates in the final merit list, including PWD, PMC, CAP and SCCL categories and EWS quota candidates.
Web options window: from 6:00 AM on 29 August 2026 up to 12:00 Noon on 1 September 2026, through https://tsmedadm.tsche.in/. For eligibility criteria and regulations, KNRUHS refers candidates back to its notification dated 04.08.2026.
University fee: allotted candidates pay Rs 12,000 (Rupees Twelve Thousand only) for the MBBS course through the payment gateway, using Debit Card, Credit Card or Internet Banking, and then download the allotment order. If a payment failure is followed by a successful payment (a double payment), submit a representation for refund of the failed/duplicate payment only by email to knruhs.doublepayments@gmail.com. On verification, any amount received through the failed or duplicate transaction is refunded to the candidate's bank account by the due procedure, but only after the closure of admissions.
Update, 5 September — the Competent Authority Quota (government-linked seats) Round 1 allotment result has been uploaded on the KNRUHS/tsmedadm.tsche.in portal, following the 29 August–1 September web-options window. Check your individual allotment status directly at tsmedadm.tsche.in. Update, 7 September — the BDS Round 1 allotment's reporting deadline is confirmed: report at your allotted college by 11 September 2026, 4:00 PM. Update, 8 September — the MBBS Round 1 reporting deadline under the same allotment is now separately confirmed, and it is not the same date: MBBS candidates must report at their allotted college by 8 September 2026, 4:00 PM (today).
Superseded · KNRUHS provisional merit list notification, 24.08.2026
Provisional merit list and ineligible-candidates list are out for Competent Authority Quota. KNRUHS, Warangal, released the provisional state merit list, along with a separate list of candidates found ineligible, for MBBS and BDS admission under Competent Authority Quota, 2026-27, based on the registrations and scanned certificates submitted at tsmedadm.tsche.in. Both lists are published on the KNRUHS website. If your name appears on the ineligible list, check the stated reason directly on the notification — do not wait for a phone call or an email, and raise any objection within the window KNRUHS specifies rather than after it closes.
This follows the Competent Authority Quota registration window, which was reopened from 2:00 PM on 18 August 2026 and closed, along with the separate Management Quota B & C/NRI registration, at 6:00 PM on 20 August 2026. The Competent Authority Quota portal remains closed and has moved on to the merit-list and eligibility stage described here; the Management Quota portal, however, has since reopened again from 2 to 4 September — see the update above.
Update · KNRUHS reopening notification, 18.08.2026 — registration now closed
Competent Authority Quota registration reopened 18 August and closed 20 August. KNRUHS, Warangal, issued a notification dated 18.08.2026, signed by the Registrar, in continuation of its earlier notification dated 04.08.2026, reopening online registration for MBBS/BDS admission under Competent Authority Quota. The window that had closed on 12.08.2026 was reopened from 2:00 PM on 18 August 2026 up to 6:00 PM on 20 August 2026, at the same portal as before: tsmedadm.tsche.in. This was explicitly for candidates who qualified NEET UG 2026 at or above the cut-off and had not yet registered. Candidates who had already submitted their applications did not need to register again.
One point is worth flagging honestly rather than glossing over: the 18 August reopening notice describes Competent Authority Quota as covering admissions in “Government, Private Medical & Dental Colleges” affiliated to KNRUHS — broader than how the original 4 August notification is characterised elsewhere on this page as government-seat only. We haven't been able to independently reconcile that difference in wording, so treat it as worth confirming directly with KNRUHS or the prospectus on its website before you assume either description is complete.

The short version. KNRUHS Telangana runs two separate registrations, at two different portals, and both have now had a second life. Management Quota — B & C/NRI (tspvtmedadm.tsche.in), at private colleges plus Neelima Institute of Medical Sciences and Army College of Dental Sciences, closed 20 August and has been reopened from 6:00 AM, 2 September to 2:00 PM, 4 September 2026. Competent Authority Quota (tsmedadm.tsche.in) also closed and reopened once (18–20 August); a provisional merit list came out 24 August, and KNRUHS published the final merit list of UG Medical admissions on 28 August 2026, after which eligible candidates — General, PWD, PMC, CAP, SCCL and EWS categories — exercised web options from 29 August up to 12:00 Noon on 1 September 2026, paying a Rs 12,000 university fee on allotment; that window is now closed. Cut-off scores remain the same for both quotas: 213 for General/UR/EWS (50th percentile), 194 for PWD General/UR/EWS (45th percentile), 177 for SC/ST/BC and PWD-SC/ST/BC (40th percentile). Update · 19 August 2026 · CAP category
Children of Armed Personnel were required to appear in Hyderabad on 13 or 14 August. KNRUHS issued a notification on 7 August 2026, continuing its earlier notification of 4 August, requiring every candidate registered under the Children of Armed Personnel (CAP) category to attend physical verification of original certificates. This was for MBBS and BDS admissions under the Competent Authority Quota for 2026-27. Candidates were required to report with a parent or guardian. This verification window has since closed.

The notification closed with a line that left no room: candidates who failed to attend physical verification per this schedule would not be considered for admission under the CAP category. No alternative slot was mentioned and no online substitute was offered. The 13 and 14 August verification dates also fell inside MCC's revised Round 1 window (registration and choice filling had been extended to 15 and 17 August respectively), so this was not a single-deadline event for CAP candidates even though it looked like one at the time.
Private Colleges Run
Their Own Portal, Open Again Now
This is not the same registration as the government-seat Competent Authority Quota above. KNRUHS issued a distinct notification for Management Quota — B Category (state-preference) and C Category (NRI) — covering private un-aided non-minority and minority medical and dental colleges affiliated to KNRUHS, plus Neelima Institute of Medical Sciences (affiliated to Anurag University) and Army College of Dental Sciences. It closed 20 August, then KNRUHS reopened it again by a notification dated 1 September 2026, in continuation of its 12 August 2026 notification, for candidates at or above the cut-off who had not yet applied. If you want a private-college seat in Telangana, this is the registration that matters, not the one above.

KNRUHS's own notification warns against touts. Its closing section states plainly: some people may claim to know university insiders who can guarantee a Medical or Dental seat through unfair means, during or after counselling. All seats are allotted strictly on NEET UG 2026 merit and web options exercised by the candidate, as per government and university rules. Do not trust anyone offering a shortcut. KNRUHS also states it will pursue legal action, and inform the NMC, against any candidate found seat-blocking — joining a college in another state while simultaneously holding a Telangana Management Quota seat.

Note what happens in what order. Your merit position moved from provisional (24 August) to final (28 August) based on the scanned certificates you uploaded and their provisional verification at registration. Originals are still checked later, at the college you're actually allotted to. If you're exercising web options now, keep your certificate scans and category proofs ready to match against the originals at reporting — a mismatch discovered at that stage can cost you the seat even after a successful web-options round.

Three Conditions, Only One Needs to Fit
Eligibility for Competent Authority Quota isn't just about your NEET score. Under G.O.Ms.No. 33 (19 July 2024) and G.O.Ms.No. 150 (8 September 2025) of the Telangana Health, Medical and Family Welfare Department, a candidate also has to satisfy one of three local-area conditions before the state will even consider a Telangana rank:
Studied at an educational institution in Telangana for not less than four consecutive academic years, ending with the year in which you first appeared for NEET.
If you didn't study in Telangana for that period, you can instead show four years of residence in the state immediately before you first appeared for NEET.
Where neither schooling nor residence applies, the notification points to having appeared for the NEET examination itself within the State of Telangana. The exact wording of this clause is intricate legal drafting, and we don't want to oversimplify it into something it doesn't say. Treat it as a possible narrow door, not a guarantee, and get it checked before you rely on it.
Also required regardless of the above: the candidate must be an Indian National, a Person of Indian Origin, or an OCI card holder whose OCI status was issued before 4 March 2021. If your family's OCI documentation is newer than that date, it does not satisfy this condition.

Telangana applies a local-area rule: a candidate must have either studied in Telangana for four consecutive academic years before appearing for NEET, or resided in Telangana for four years before that, or — where neither applies — have appeared for the NEET UG examination itself at a centre within Telangana. That third condition is narrow and the exact wording is technical, so if your only connection to Telangana is that you happened to sit NEET there, do not assume eligibility on your own reading — confirm it directly with KNRUHS or with OEF before you register.
