How the two cancellation windows fit together
They run one after the other. The Admission Committee desk notice of 23 September opened cancellation of a 1st/2nd Round admission from 24 September, 10 AM to 26 September, 12 noon. The Round 3 advertisement of 25 September then lists cancellation at Help Centers from 26 September, 4 PM to 1 October, 4 PM. So, as of 29 September, cancellation is open until 1 October, 4 PM.
Register early — do not wait for the last day
News reports of the 25 September advertisement give online registration as 26–30 September (till 4 PM), while our reading of the advertisement shows 30 September–1 October. PIN purchase closes 30 September, 12 noon either way, and document verification runs 30 September–1 October, 4 PM. To be safe, buy the PIN and finish online registration before noon on 30 September. From Round 3, the Help Center checks original documents only — DigiLocker copies and colour printouts are not accepted.

ACPUGMEC's Advertisement for Online Registration for the Third Round sets online registration for 30 September to 1 October 2026, 4:00 PM, with online PIN purchase from 26 to 30 September, 12:00 Noon, and document verification at a Help Center from 30 September to 1 October, 4:00 PM. It is for candidates who did not register in Round 1 or Round 2, or whose Round 2 seat allotment was never confirmed and exited with forfeiture of the admission security deposit. The short answer. Gujarat's Round 3 registration is now open. ACPUGMEC's Advertisement for Online Registration for the Third Round sets online registration for 30 September to 1 October 2026, 4:00 PM, with online PIN purchase from 26 to 30 September, 12:00 Noon, and document verification at a Help Center from 30 September to 1 October, 4:00 PM, at an appointment you select yourself when printing your Registration Slip. It is open to NEET UG 2026 qualified candidates from a Gujarat-affiliated board (or CBSE/CISCE/Cambridge/NIOS) who did not register in Round 1 or Round 2, or whose Round 2 seat allotment was never confirmed (exited with forfeiture of the admission security deposit). The fee is ₹1,000 (non-refundable) plus a ₹10,000 refundable security deposit — ₹11,000 total, paid online during PIN purchase. NRI candidates additionally pay ₹10,000 by demand draft in favour of “ACPUGMEC”, payable at Gandhinagar, submitted at the ACPUGMEC office, GMERS Medical College, Gandhinagar. Update, 8 September. That registration window has closed. ACPUGMEC has published Round 2 merit lists — General and EWS category lists, a separate NRI merit list and report, and updated Local Quota candidate lists for NHL Ahmedabad and SMIMER Surat — on medadmgujarat.ncode.in. PwD-category candidate verification is still under way and that merit list has not yet been declared.
Separately, candidates already allotted a Round 1 seat continue on their own schedule: online tuition fee payment to 3 September, 3:30 PM, and reporting with original documents at the Help Center to 5 September, 12:00 noon. Eligibility for both tracks requires a NEET UG 2026 score of 213 for Open/EWS, 194 for PwD Open/EWS, and 177 for SC, ST, SEBC and category-PwD, and government and management quota still need both Class 10 and Class 12 passed from schools in Gujarat.

What it costs, and who needs an extra certificate. The PIN is purchased online at www.medadmgujarat.org for ₹1,000, non-refundable, plus a ₹10,000 refundable security deposit — ₹11,000 in total. After registering, candidates must take a prior appointment for document verification and submit self-attested photocopies of documents at a Help Center; the verification date and centre are the ones selected when the Registration Slip is printed. Help Centers work Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Saturday, 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon, staying closed on Sundays and public holidays. Candidates applying for a Local Quota seat at Smt. NHL Municipal Medical College, Ahmedabad, or SMIMER, Surat, must obtain a local-candidate/resident certificate from the respective institute. NRI candidates must additionally submit a Demand Draft of ₹10,000, payable to “ACPUGMEC” at Gandhinagar, as a processing fee, at the ACPUGMEC office, GMERS Medical College, Gandhinagar, only. Two notices, two different cancellation windows — we flag rather than resolve this. An Admission Committee “Important Information” desk notice (Gujarati and English) dated 23 September 2026, 6:00 PM, states that the process for cancellation of admitted seats for UG MBBS/BDS courses will remain open from 24 September 2026, 10:00 AM, to 26 September 2026, 12:00 Noon, and asks candidates who wish to cancel their admission to visit their respective reported Help Center and complete the cancellation process within that time. Three days later, ACPUGMEC's own Advertisement for Online Registration for the Third Round lists, as its own item 1 above, cancellation of 1st or 2nd Round admission at Help Centers running 26 September 2026, 4:00 PM, to 1 October 2026, 4:00 PM — a window that begins close to where the first one ends, but is presented as its own independent item rather than an extension of the first. Orchid Education Foundation has not located a further notice reconciling these two windows, and we are not going to guess which one governs a given candidate's situation. What it costs, and who pays extra. The fee is ₹1,000, non-refundable, plus a ₹10,000 refundable security deposit — ₹11,000 in total, paid online while buying the PIN. NRI candidates pay an additional ₹10,000 processing fee after registering, by demand draft in favour of “ACPUGMEC” payable at Gandhinagar, submitted at the ACPUGMEC office, GMERS Medical College, Gandhinagar. If your goal is a Local Quota seat at Smt. NHL Municipal Medical College, Ahmedabad, or SMIMER, Surat, you also need a residence certificate from that college's own Dean — ACPUGMEC's registration alone does not get you Local Quota consideration. And if you already paid ₹11,000 for a PIN during Round 1 but never got as far as completing registration or document verification, do not buy a second PIN: just log back in and finish the steps you left undone. Document verification appointments are self-selected at the time you print your registration slip, and the Help Center keeps the same hours as the rest of this process — Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 4 PM, Saturday 10 AM to 12 PM, closed Sundays and public holidays. Note the BDS row. Gujarat applies a Class 12 PCB percentage requirement to BDS that it does not apply to MBBS. A candidate who clears the NEET floor but has 46% in PCB is eligible for MBBS consideration and not for BDS in the Open category. Gujarat's Schooling Rule Is
Stricter Than Most States
To be considered for Government Quota or Management Quota in Gujarat, a candidate must have passed both Class 10 and Class 12 from schools located in Gujarat, and must either have been born in Gujarat or hold Gujarat domicile. This is not the usual soft domicile preference that some states apply — it is a hard gate written into the admission rules, and it applies to OCI card holders too.
For a student schooled in Guwahati, Shillong, Imphal or Aizawl, that closes two of the three quotas. What remains is NRI Quota, where ACPUGMEC grants admission on inter-se merit determined by All India Overall Rank among candidates who applied for NRI seats. Following the Supreme Court judgment in Writ Petition (C) No. 891 of 2021, dated 3 February 2023, OCI card holders are eligible for NRI, Management and Government quota — but the Gujarat schooling and domicile conditions above still bind the last two.
What OEF will tell you plainly. If your family has no genuine NRI sponsor and you were not schooled in Gujarat, Gujarat is not your state this year, and we will say so before you spend a rupee on a PIN. How the ACPUGMEC
Process Actually Runs
Buy the online PIN
Purchased through medadmgujarat.org. ACPUGMEC's own advice is to do this on a broadband connection, because transaction failures on weak connections are a recurring complaint. Without a PIN you cannot reach the application stage at all.
Complete the online registration
Authenticate with the PIN and enter your NEET UG 2026 and Class 12 details along with personal information. ACPUGMEC publishes a documents checklist, an instructions PDF and a procedure PDF on the UG page — read all three before starting.
Book a help-centre appointment
Document verification happens in person at a designated help centre, and you choose the date and centre yourself while printing the registration slip. ACPUGMEC publishes the help-centre list. PwD candidates additionally appear before the medical board at a listed civil hospital.
Merit list, choice filling, allotment
ACPUGMEC publishes the merit list, then runs choice filling and seat allotment across successive rounds, ending with a stray round. Candidates report physically to the allotted college for admission.
The refundable deposit
Gujarat collects a non-refundable registration fee plus a refundable security deposit of ₹10,000. The refund is processed in rounds after the cycle ends, and candidates must submit bank details in the notified window — ACPUGMEC is currently running refund Round 7 for the previous session. Deposits do get forfeited where candidates default, so read the forfeiture clause before you accept an allotment.

After the 1-4 September Round 2 registration window closed, ACPUGMEC published Round 2 merit lists on medadmgujarat.ncode.in — General and EWS category lists, a separate NRI merit list and report, and updated Local Quota candidate lists for Smt. NHL Municipal Medical College, Ahmedabad, and SMIMER, Surat. PwD-category candidate verification is still under way and that merit list has not yet been declared. The original registration window closed 12 August 2026, but that was not the end of registration for everyone. ACPUGMEC has since opened a separate Round 2 registration window, 1 to 4 September 2026, specifically for candidates who did not register at all in Round 1. If you already registered and are on the merit list, you are past this and should be tracking the 1st Round Allotment & Reporting schedule instead.
Yes. ACPUGMEC has opened online registration for a Round 2 specifically for NEET UG 2026 qualified candidates from Gujarat Board, CBSE, CISCE, Cambridge or NIOS schools in Gujarat who did not register in Round 1. Online PIN purchase runs 1 to 4 September 2026 up to 12 noon, and online registration itself runs 1 to 4 September up to 4:00 PM, both at medadmgujarat.org. Document verification, with photocopies submitted at a Help Center, follows on 2 to 5 September up to 12 noon, and you pick your own appointment slot when you print your registration slip. The fee is Rs 1,000 (non-refundable) plus a Rs 10,000 refundable security deposit, Rs 11,000 in total, paid online at the PIN-purchase stage. NRI candidates pay an additional Rs 10,000 processing fee after registering, by demand draft in favour of ACPUGMEC payable at Gandhinagar, submitted at the ACPUGMEC office at GMERS Medical College, Gandhinagar. Anyone hoping for a Local Quota seat at Smt. NHL Municipal Medical College, Ahmedabad, or SMIMER, Surat, also needs a residence certificate from that college's Dean. If you already paid Rs 11,000 for a PIN in Round 1 but never finished registering or verifying documents, you do not need to buy a new PIN — just complete registration and verification now. This Round 2 registration window has since closed; Round 3 registration, 30 September to 1 October 2026, is now open instead — see the first question above.

ACPUGMEC has since issued its Advertisement for 1st Round of Allotment & Reporting, covering all eligible candidates on the ACPUGMEC Merit List for Government, Management and NRI seats: online tuition fee payment runs 27 August to 3 September, 3:30 PM; fees can also be paid offline at a designated HDFC Bank branch, 29 August to 3 September; and reporting with original-document submission at the Help Center runs 29 August to 5 September, 12:00 noon. The Help Center works Monday-Friday, 10 AM-4 PM, and Saturday, 10 AM-12 PM, staying closed on Sundays and public holidays. Check medadmgujarat.org frequently for what follows.
ACPUGMEC's published eligibility table for 2026-27 sets the NEET UG 2026 qualifying score at 213 for Open and EWS candidates, 194 for PwD candidates in the Open/EWS category, and 177 for SC, ST, SEBC and category-PwD candidates. For MBBS you must have passed Class 12 PCB with English. For BDS the Class 12 PCB requirement is 50% for Open/EWS, 45% for PwD Open/EWS and 40% for SC/ST/SEBC and category-PwD.
Yes, all of them. ACPUGMEC states that the entire admission process for 100% of the seats in every medical and dental undergraduate college in Gujarat — Government Quota, Management Quota and NRI Quota — is conducted on merit, online, solely by the committee. No college in Gujarat admits directly. Any offer of a Gujarat seat outside medadmgujarat.org is not a real offer.
For Government and Management Quota, no. Gujarat's rules require that a candidate has passed both Class 10 and Class 12 from a school located in Gujarat, and is either born in Gujarat or holds Gujarat domicile. That closes those two quotas to a student schooled in the Northeast. NRI Quota is decided on inter-se merit by All India Overall Rank among NRI applicants, and OCI card holders are eligible following the Supreme Court judgment of 3 February 2023. In practice Gujarat is a route for NRI-sponsored candidates, not for the general out-of-state applicant — and we would rather tell you that now than after you have bought a PIN.
Separately. ACPUGMEC has stated that registration for BAMS and BHMS admission is conducted independently, as per the schedule notified by the NCISM, NCH and the AYUSH Counselling Committee, New Delhi. Do not assume your MBBS/BDS registration on medadmgujarat.org covers AYUSH courses; it does not.
