Maharashtra NEET PG Counselling 2026 —
Round 1 Selection List Out, Report by 10 November
In one line: The State CET Cell has printed the Round 1 provisional selection list for MD/MS/Diploma admissions 2026-27 (5 November 2026). Selected candidates must report physically from 6 to 10 November 2026, up to 5:30 PM, and the last date to fill the Status Retention Form is 10 November, 5:30 PM, in person. The list has 6,885 entries, of which 2,112 show a seat and 4,773 show “Choice Not Available”. The State CET Cell says the security deposit will be refunded to the same bank account it was paid from (General Notice No. MED-1026/C.R.No.90/NEET PG 2026/Notice/2580, 29 October 2026). If you gave a parent’s or relative’s bank details, they will be accepted for the refund, so you may ignore the bank-account discrepancy shown in your login. Every other discrepancy must be fixed through your candidate login before the final merit list.

The list names individual candidates; we do not reproduce names or form numbers. If your row shows a seat, note the college, subject and quota, then follow the reporting and Status Retention steps above. A separate letter of 4 November from the Health Services Commissionerate to the CET Cell, which we read in Marathi, concerns the list of 67 in-service medical officers and incentive marks; it contains a case-specific note on one officer that we do not repeat here. Seats are allotted only through counselling; no college, consultant or agent can sell or reserve one, and capitation fee is illegal in India. Pay only through the official portal or to the college, against a receipt.

Which Certificate Works
for AIQ and for Maharashtra
OBC
All India Quota (MCC): Central-list OBC-NCL certificate in the MCC format (Annexure-4), income based on the financial year ending 31 March 2026, so issued on or after 1 April 2026. Non-creamy layer is part of this certificate; no separate NCL needed.
Maharashtra State Quota: Old caste certificate and old caste validity certificate are accepted. The non-creamy layer certificate must be valid till 31 March 2027.
SEBC
All India Quota (MCC): No SEBC quota in AIQ. You can use EWS in AIQ only if you chose EWS in your NEET PG 2026 form, with a central-format EWS certificate.
Maharashtra State Quota: SEBC quota is available only here. Caste certificate, non-creamy layer and caste validity must be issued in 2024 or later; older SEBC certificates are not valid. NCL valid till 31 March 2027.
VJ, NT-B, NT-C, NT-D
All India Quota (MCC): Counted as OBC in AIQ, with a central-list OBC-NCL certificate issued on or after 1 April 2026 (NCL included).
Maharashtra State Quota: Old caste certificate and caste validity are accepted. NCL valid till 31 March 2027.
EWS
All India Quota (MCC): EWS certificate in the central (MCC Annexure-5) format, income for the financial year ending 31 March 2026, issued on or after 1 April 2026.
Maharashtra State Quota: EWS certificate in the Maharashtra State format only, issued on or after 1 April 2026 and valid for 2026-27. Central-format EWS and an application receipt are not accepted.
SC / ST
All India Quota (MCC): SC/ST certificate in the prescribed format (MCC Annexure-3, also printed in the NBEMS NEET-PG 2026 bulletin). Old certificates are fine.
Maharashtra State Quota: SC or ST certificate plus caste validity certificate. No NCL needed. Old certificates remain valid.
PwD
All India Quota (MCC): Disability certificate from an MCC-designated medical board.
Maharashtra State Quota: You must have claimed PwD in your NEET PG form, and submit the online PwD certificate from an MCC-designated board.
Caste validity: what the 16 October notice adds
Under the State G.R., OBC and SEBC candidates may submit the receipt of their caste validity application, with six months to produce the validity certificate. A Government circular of 4 September 2026 gives SC, VJ, NT, OBC and SBC candidates three more months from that date to submit caste validity for admission. Claim your category in the form before you submit it: the CET Cell does not move anyone from Open to a reserved category afterwards.
