After BDS + 1-year internship, you can appear for NEET MDS and pursue a 3-year specialisation. MDS specialists in Orthodontics, Oral Surgery, and Implantology earn ₹2–5 Lakhs per month and are in extremely high demand. This is where the really big earnings are.
State Public Service Commissions, UPSC, and Defence Services (Army Dental Corps) recruit BDS graduates as Dental Officers. Government dental officer salary: ₹50,000–₹1.2 Lakhs/month with full benefits. Excellent job security for those who prefer that stability.

There is no higher cutoff requirement for management quota seats.
