Each category checks its own documents. A Christian or linguistic minority claim needs the community certificate the prospectus names; an NRI claim needs the sponsor’s papers. A candidate can be eligible in one category and not in another, which is why the notice asks everyone to check their status under every category they applied for. How to File a Grievance

The latest sourced figures (2025-26) put clinical NRI tuition at Rs 29 lakh a year and non-clinical at Rs 19 lakh a year, plus a development fee of about Rs 60,000 a year. The 2026-27 order, when published, applies instead.
