Before You Pay Anything,
Know the Rules
The legal part, in plain words. 1. No one can sell or reserve an MBBS seat. Every MBBS seat in India, management and NRI seats included, is allotted only through official NEET UG counselling. OEF guides you through that process; we do not and cannot allot seats. 2. Capitation fee is illegal. The Supreme Court has repeatedly held that colleges cannot charge capitation fees, and states such as Tamil Nadu and Rajasthan also have their own laws against it. The OEF figure on this page is a fee arrangement for the college’s own tuition, not an extra payment. 3. Pay only the college. Pay into the college or university’s official bank account and keep every receipt. OEF’s own service charge is separate and agreed in writing.
Five checks before you pay anything
- Your seat appears in the official counselling allotment letter, with your name and roll number on it.
- The college is on the current NMC list of recognised or permitted medical colleges for 2026-27.
- The year-wise fee, deposit and what each covers are given to you in writing by the college.
- Every rupee goes into the college’s official account, against a numbered receipt.
- You know the instalment dates and what happens to your fees if you resign or the seat is cancelled.
Published Tuition at
Rajasthan Private Colleges, for Reference
Source: each college’s own fee submission in the Rajasthan NEET UG 2026 MBBS college fee document, as shown on our college pages. These are the published tuition figures for reference. They exclude deposits, yearly charges and hostel. The OEF package is a separate fee arrangement, and the amount you actually pay is the one on the college’s own receipts.
Why you must see it in writing: the package and a college’s published tuition are different numbers. OEF confirms with the college, in writing, the exact amounts that will appear on the college’s receipts before you pay anything. If the college’s own fee letter differs from what is on this page, the college’s letter is what applies.
How a Rajasthan Private
MBBS Seat Is Actually Allotted
| # | Step |
|---|---|
| 1 | Qualify NEET UG 2026. It is compulsory for every MBBS seat in India, whichever quota. |
| 2 | Register for Rajasthan NEET UG counselling at ug.neetrajasthan.com and complete the application, as notified by the state counselling authority. |
| 3 | Fill your choice list in your real order of preference, including the private colleges you want. The security deposit is taken at choice filling; see our Rajasthan page for the current amounts. |
| 4 | Allotment is generated from your locked choices on rank and category. Nobody outside the counselling authority can influence it. |
| 5 | If allotted, report with original documents and pay the college’s fee to its official account against a receipt. |
Check dates, rounds and eligibility on our Rajasthan NEET UG 2026 counselling page and on the official portal before you act.
If anyone offers to reserve or guarantee a Rajasthan MBBS seat before allotment, or asks for money outside the college’s official account, that is not how this process works. Read what an admission scam looks like.
Can a Student from the Northeast
Take a Rajasthan MBBS Seat?
Rajasthan’s Round 1 state counselling is for Rajasthan domicile candidates, so a family from Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur or elsewhere in the Northeast cannot register for it directly. What is open to a non-domicile candidate is the 15% All India Quota through MCC, plus any management or NRI seats released through later rounds or direct college processes, subject to the rules notified each year.
That is why your first step is a rank-and-category check, not a payment. OEF tells you plainly whether a Rajasthan private seat is reachable on your NEET UG rank, which route applies to you, and whether the ₹65 lakh package fits your budget.
Rajasthan is far from the Northeast. Jaipur, Udaipur, Kota and Jodhpur are well connected by rail and air (check current schedules), teaching is in English, and Hindi is widely spoken, which many Northeast students find easier than a new regional language.
