The Spot Round was conducted and the result published the same day, 11 September 2026. Allotment was made strictly by NEET UG 2026 All India Rank (AIR), with no other criterion. The published list spans multiple courses (BDS, BVSc, BAMS, BHMS, B.Sc Nursing, B.Physiotherapy, MRIT) and multiple colleges (in Lucknow, Imphal, Aizawl, Jorhat, Guwahati, NEIAH, Pasighat, Kolkata, Chhattisgarh and Nagaland). Circular No. HTE-18/1/2021-HTE-BR-HTE, dated 9 September 2026 and signed by Director Dr. Milorai Modi, schedules Spot Round Counselling (Offline) for 11 September 2026, from 11:30 AM, at the DK Hall, State Legislative Assembly, Itanagar. Eligible candidates: Freeze-option candidates who withdrew their allotted seat online by 9 September; registered candidates not allotted a seat through the 2nd round; fresh candidates who missed the 1st round and register now (portal open 10:00 AM, 9 September to 3:00 PM, 10 September); candidates who did not opt for Freeze after the 2nd round; and Freeze-option candidates who never reported, treated as surrendered. All participating candidates must pay a Rs 5,000 Seat Acceptance Fee/Security Deposit via apjee.co.in — the circular itself is inconsistent on the exact cut-off (Note 6 says 4:00 PM, Note 7 says 3:00 PM, both 10 September), so pay well before 3 PM to be safe. Seat allotment, revised from 21 August, was declared as scheduled on 27 August 2026 due to the postponement of the All India Counselling (MCC AIQ Round 1). The Directorate says it is due to the postponement of the All India Counselling — MCC’s own AIQ Round 1 schedule slipped this cycle, and Arunachal Pradesh, like several other states, pushed its own Round 1 allotment to stay reconciled with the national process. The Directorate’s notice describes 27 August 2026 as a Friday; our own calendar check shows 27 August 2026 actually falls on a Thursday (28 August is the Friday). Confirm the exact day directly on apdhte.nic.in rather than relying on the day-name in the notice, and treat Round 2 and later dates as unconfirmed until the Directorate issues the promised revised schedule.

Not with precision, and be wary of anyone who claims otherwise. The Directorate’s 20 August merit list shows 814 registered candidates, All India Rank 18,036 to 17,65,877. OEF cross-checked all 814 against MCC’s AIQ Round 1 Provisional Result and found 48 — mostly APST, concentrated at the very top of the list — already hold a provisional AIQ seat elsewhere, which may reduce real competition for the state’s own seats. But the Directorate has not published how many PCB seats are actually available this cycle, so no one can respectably state an exact predicted cutoff.
