Fee source: the 2026-27 college-wise BAMS fee structure sheet held by OEF (year-wise management and NRI quota amounts, hostel and mess, college codes). Fees can change by college and availability. The amount payable for your seat is the one notified by KEA and charged by the college, so confirm it in writing and pay only into the college’s official account against a receipt.

One caution on the Atreya figure: its year-wise management amounts on our sheet add up to ₹15,00,000 while the stated course package is ₹16,00,000. OEF confirms the final schedule with the college in writing before you commit.

Know the Location

Which of These Is Really
in Bangalore City?

Our fee sheet lists all five as Bangalore. In practice, they sit around the city: Atreya at Doddaballapura and Sri Paripoorna at Nelamangala (Bengaluru Rural district, north and north-west), Rajashekaraiah at Solur in Magadi taluk (west of the city), and Sri Sri at Udayapura on Kanakapura Road (south). Sushrutha is listed in the Bengaluru region. Daily travel, hostel location and weekend access to the city are real differences for a student who is far from home.

Before you shortlist, ask OEF for the exact address, the hostel location and how students get to the city. We will tell you plainly which campuses feel like a city college and which are semi-rural.

For Northeast India Students

Why Northeast Families
Look at Bangalore for BAMS

Assam’s own government Ayurvedic college has very few seats, so many families from Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland, Mizoram, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim look at Karnataka’s large private college network. Bengaluru is the usual first choice because of travel and city life. Direct flights connect Guwahati and Bengaluru, so a student can reach campus in a day (check current schedules). Teaching is in English; patients in Karnataka mostly speak Kannada, with Hindi and English widely understood in Bengaluru, so learning basic Kannada in the first year helps in the OPD. Bengaluru has a mild climate through the year and a large community of students from the Northeast.

What worries parents most is not the fee table. It is distance, food, safety, language and the risk of paying a wrong person. That is why OEF handles verification, counselling choices and fee confirmation for you, and tells you if a college is not the right fit.

Admission Process

BAMS Admission in Bangalore,
Step by Step

#Step
1Qualify NEET UG 2026.
2Register for Karnataka AYUSH UG counselling with the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). KEA released the 2026 AYUSH seat matrix on 29 September 2026; check its notices for round dates.
3Fill your choices with the correct college codes, in your real order of preference.
4Take the allotment KEA generates on rank and category, report with documents and pay the college against receipts.

Every BAMS seat, management quota included, is allotted only through official counselling, and capitation fees are illegal. If anyone offers a seat before allotment or asks for money outside the college’s official account, do not pay. Read what an admission scam looks like.
