Per Health Department, Bihar, Patna Letter No. 1279(1) dated 15 September 2026, one new Private Medical College — K.K. Medical College & Hospital, Rajgir, Nalanda — has been added, along with 50 additional seats at Himalya Medical College & Hospital, Paliganj, Patna; the updated seat matrix is on the Board’s website. The extended Round 2 dates are: updated seat matrix posted 15 September 2026; last date of online Registration & submission of Application with payment, and Editing of Application Form data, 17 September 2026 (11:59 pm); Consent for Round 2 with payment (if any) from candidates who already submitted their Application Form earlier, up to 17 September 2026 (10:00 pm); publication of Rank Card, 19 September 2026; last date of Choice Filling / Editing of Choices & Locking, 20 September 2026 (11:59 pm); Round 2 Provisional Seat Allotment Result, 24 September 2026; downloading of the Provisional Seat Allotment order, 24 to 28 September 2026; and Documents Verification and Admission, 26 to 28 September 2026. PGDAC (Post Graduate Dental Admission Counselling) is BCECEB’s separate process for MDS seats in Government and Private Dental colleges of Bihar. No. BCECEB(PGDAC)-2026/01 & 2026/02 (both dated 18 August 2026), and in light of the extension of MCC’s NEET (MDS) Round 2 counselling schedule, BCECEB has extended PGDAC 2026 Round 2 as follows: Resignation through Free Exit from Round 1 counselling, 24 September 2026; online Choice Filling / Editing of choices for seat allotment, 25 September 2026; last date of Choice Filling / Editing of choices and locking, 25 September 2026 (11:59 pm); 2nd Round provisional Seat Allotment Result, 28 September 2026; downloading of the Provisional Seat Allotment order, 28 to 30 September 2026; and Document Verification / Admission, 29 to 30 September 2026. All other terms and conditions from Adv. No. BCECEB(PGDAC)-2026/01, dated 18 August 2026, remain unchanged. The updated seat matrix went up on 11 September; Resignation/Withdrawal from Round 1 runs 12–13 September, and today, 13 September, is the closing day of that window — a same-day text update received 13 September independently repeats this identical closing date, confirming it has not moved; online Registration and submission of Application-cum-Choice Filling, plus Editing of Application Form data and Editing of Choices, starts 12 September; the last date for fresh Registration with payment and for Editing of Application Form data is 15 September 2026 at 11:59 pm; candidates who already submitted their Application earlier must give Consent for Round 2 with payment (if any) between 12 and 15 September (10:00 pm); the Rank Card is published on 17 September; the last date for Choice Filling, Editing of Choices and Locking is 18 September 2026 at 11:59 pm; the Round 2 Provisional Seat Allotment Result is published on 22 September; Provisional Seat Allotment orders can be downloaded from 22 to 25 September; and Documents Verification and Admission runs from 24 to 25 September 2026.

It depends on whether you were Freeze or Float. If you are a Freeze candidate who completed document verification without discrepancy and took admission, but you neither resigned/withdrew within the scheduled window nor gave consent for Round 2, you will be treated as an ADMITTED candidate — your Round 1 seat stands and you are not considered further. If you are a Float candidate and you do nothing, your seat allotment for Round 2 will simply run on the choices you already filled in Round 1 — you don't lose your place, but you also don't get to revise your list. The one thing that does require action is consent: all Freeze candidates from Round 1 must actively log in with their NEET (UG) 2026 Roll No. and Password and give consent to participate in Round 2, authenticated by password and an OTP to their registered mobile/email, or they will not be moved into Round 2 at all. And if you resigned your Round 1 seat (or were treated as Free-Exit) and want Round 2, your previous choices become Null and Void — you must log in and fill fresh choices, or you will not be eligible for Round 2 seat allotment.

Online registration and submission of the application-cum-choice filling form opens on 10 August 2026 and closes on 14 August 2026 at 11:59 pm, including the payment by debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI. Editing of application form data closes at the same moment. The seat matrix went up on the Board’s website on 7 August 2026.

Yes, and this is the single most important thing to understand about the Bihar schedule. The 10–14 August registration window is labelled for Round 1 and Round 2 together. There is no second registration window in September. If you miss 14 August, you are out of both rounds, not just the first one. Bihar works differently from Chhattisgarh here, where every phase carries its own fresh application.

The Round 1 provisional seat allotment result was revised to 25 August 2026 (from an earlier 20 August), per Board Notice BCECEB(UGMAC)-2026/03 dated 25 August 2026, which cited a further extension of MCC's own schedule as the reason. Allotment orders could be downloaded from 25 to 31 August, and document verification opened on 27 August. BCECEB has since pushed the verification deadline again, to 1 September 2026, per Notice BCECEB(UGMAC)-2026/04 dated 31 August 2026. After the provisional result and the opening of document verification, BCECEB first pushed the verification window to 31 August, and then, in Notice BCECEB(UGMAC)-2026/04 dated 31 August 2026, extended it again to 1 September 2026 — today. That notice says every other condition from the original 7 August advertisement stands unchanged. Thirteen items, all in original at verification and uploaded when you download the provisional allotment order: NEET UG 2026 admit card and score card, UGMAC 2026 rank card, Class 10 passing certificate or mark sheet or admit card, the equivalent for Class 12, residential certificate, caste or EWS certificate, any DQ / NRI / Minority / Ward Quota certificate, printed confirmation page of the online application, all originals required for private medical or dental college admission, six passport-size photographs matching the one on your NEET admit card, Aadhaar card, and the downloaded check slip with one copy of Biometric Identification Report Form 1.

Yes. The notice requires DQ candidates to merge the UDID card, the affidavit and the DQ certificate into a single PDF and upload it at the specified place. All three must go in as one file, not three. The same documents must then be produced in original at physical verification.
