Bihar UGMAC 2026 —
Round 1 Result 25 August, Report by 31 August (Revised)
The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board put its seat matrix up on 7 August and opens registration on 10 August. Five days later the window shuts — for Round 1 and Round 2 together. There is no September re-entry. A further Board notice dated 25 August has since pushed the Round 1 result, and reporting for it, back by roughly a week.

View Bihar MBBS Fees →The short version. Bihar's Under Graduate Medical Admission Counselling for 2026 opened registration on 10 August 2026 and closed it on 14 August 2026 at 11:59 pm, payment included, covering Round 1 and Round 2 in one window. Choice filling and locking closed 17 August, 11:59 pm, and the rank card published 16 August. Board Notice BCECEB(UGMAC)-2026/03, dated 25 August 2026, has since revised Round 1: the provisional seat allotment result is now 25 August (was 20 August), allotment orders download 25–31 August, and document verification and admission run 27–31 August (was 24–27 August), citing a further MCC schedule extension. Round 2 was last pencilled in for an 11 September allotment with 15–18 September verification, but the same notice says fresh Round 2 dates will be announced separately — treat those as provisional.

| Downloading of Round 1 allotment order | 25 August – 31 August 2026 |
| Round 1 document verification & admission (revised) | 27 August – 31 August 2026 was 24–27 Aug |
Why these dates moved. Board Notice BCECEB(UGMAC)-2026/03 (Memo No. 1313/2026, dated 25 August 2026) states plainly: “In the light of extension of counselling schedule by MCC, UGMAC-2026 Round-1 Online Counselling Programme is hereby extended.” The Round 1 provisional result, originally 20 August, published on 25 August instead; verification and admission now run to 31 August rather than 27 August. The notice adds that Round 2 information will follow in a separate announcement — the table below is the Board's last published Round 2 schedule, not a confirmed one.
The September Half
You Have Already Registered For
| Stage | Date |
|---|---|
| Resignation through Free Exit from Round 1 counselling | 3 – 4 September 2026 |
| Online choice filling for Round 2 seat allotment | 6 September 2026 |
| Last date of choice filling and locking (Round 2) | 7 September 2026 |

| Downloading of Round 2 allotment order | 14 – 15 September 2026 |
| Round 2 document verification & admission | 15 – 18 September 2026 |
Read this twice. There is no Round 2 registration window. The only date on which you can enter UGMAC 2026 at all is on or before 14 August. Round 2 in September is choice filling for people who are already inside the system. A student who assumes Bihar works like Chhattisgarh — fresh application each phase — will find the door shut in September.

14 August Is a Crowded Day
on the 2026 Calendar
Bihar's registration deadline sits inside the busiest fortnight of the counselling year. MCC Round 1 choice filling went live on 7 August and, after a schedule extension under MCC Notice No. 10, ran until 18 August, with the seat matrix already published and the registration reset facility open until 11:00 am on 12 August. Chhattisgarh opens on 9 August and closes on 16 August. Meghalaya's PIMC window shuts on 13 August. Telangana's CAP verification runs 13–14 August in Hyderabad.
If Bihar is one of several applications you are running, do the registration first and the choice filling later. Registration has a hard 14 August cut-off; choice filling gives you until 17 August. Spending 12 August perfecting a choice list while the registration form sits half-finished is the failure mode we see most often.
Compare all nineteen state windows on the deadline tracker, or read the MCC All India Quota schedule to see where the national rounds collide with this one.
Questions Parents Ask Us
Online registration and submission of the application-cum-choice filling form opens on 10 August 2026 and closes on 14 August 2026 at 11:59 pm, including the payment by debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI. Editing of application form data closes at the same moment. The seat matrix went up on the Board’s website on 7 August 2026.
Yes, and this is the single most important thing to understand about the Bihar schedule. The 10–14 August registration window is labelled for Round 1 and Round 2 together. There is no second registration window in September. If you miss 14 August, you are out of both rounds, not just the first one. Bihar works differently from Chhattisgarh here, where every phase carries its own fresh application.
On 16 August 2026, two days after registration closes and one day before choice locking ends. The rank card is built from your NEET UG 2026 rank, your registration, the choices you have filled, and payment of the counselling fee and security deposit.
As last published, 3 to 4 September 2026, candidates who took a Round 1 seat can resign from it through Free Exit before Round 2 choice filling opens on 6 September. That was set against a Round 1 verification window closing 27 August; the Board has since pushed Round 1 verification to 31 August (Notice BCECEB(UGMAC)-2026/03, dated 25 August) and says fresh Round 2 information will follow separately, so this Free Exit window itself may move — confirm on bceceboard.bihar.gov.in before assuming 3 September still holds.
The Round 1 provisional seat allotment result was revised to 25 August 2026 (from an earlier 20 August), per Board Notice BCECEB(UGMAC)-2026/03 dated 25 August 2026, which cites a further extension of MCC's own schedule as the reason. Allotment orders can now be downloaded from 25 August to 31 August, and document verification and admission run from 27 August to 31 August 2026. Round 2 dates below are the last ones the Board has published; the same 25 August notice says fresh Round 2 information will follow separately, so treat them as provisional until the Board confirms.
Yes. Board Notice BCECEB(UGMAC)-2026/03, dated 25 August 2026 (Memo No. 1313/2026), moved the Round 1 provisional seat allotment result from 20 August to 25 August, extended the allotment-order download window to 25–31 August, and pushed document verification and admission to 27–31 August — all attributed to a further extension of MCC's own counselling schedule. The notice explicitly says Round 2 details will be announced separately, so the September dates elsewhere on this page are the last published figures, not confirmed ones.
Thirteen items, all in original at verification and uploaded when you download the provisional allotment order: NEET UG 2026 admit card and score card, UGMAC 2026 rank card, Class 10 passing certificate or mark sheet or admit card, the equivalent for Class 12, residential certificate, caste or EWS certificate, any DQ / NRI / Minority / Ward Quota certificate, printed confirmation page of the online application, all originals required for private medical or dental college admission, six passport-size photographs matching the one on your NEET admit card, Aadhaar card, and the downloaded check slip with one copy of Biometric Identification Report Form 1.
Yes. The notice requires DQ candidates to merge the UDID card, the affidavit and the DQ certificate into a single PDF and upload it at the specified place. All three must go in as one file, not three. The same documents must then be produced in original at physical verification.
