Chitkara Institute of Engineering and Technology is an engineering college in Chandigarh, Punjab, north India. It was founded by Dr. Ashok Chitkara in 1998 and is approved by the All-India Council of Technical Education and was affiliated to Punjab Technical University until 2010.

 

Chitkara University Institute of Engineering & Technology (CUIET), Punjab was established in the year 2002 and was affiliated to Punjab Technical University until 2010. Today, CUIET has become the first choice among the student community of North India; this claim is reinforced by the fact that it has been consistently ranked among the best 50 private engineering colleges in India. An accreditation by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) – with an impressive score of 2.89 on a four-point scale, adds greater cogency to CIET’s reputation.
