The commencement of the registration process for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate) – 2024 is anticipated in January 2024. Meanwhile, the NEET exam date has been officially confirmed by the NTA. According to the academic calendar, the NEET UG 2024 examination is scheduled for May 5. Prospective candidates are encouraged to prepare all necessary documents before completing the application form. NEET UG 2024: Documents Required For Registration
A candidate can apply for the NEET (UG) – 2024 by logging on to https://neet.nta.nic.in/. Candidates have to scan images of the following in JPG /PDF format only, for uploading the same as part of the submission of his/her online application:
- Latest Passport size Photograph in JPG format (size: 10 kb to 200 kb)
- Post Card size photograph (4” X6”) in JPG format (Size: 10 kb – 200 kb)
- Signature in JPG format (size: 4 kb to 30 kb)
- Left and Right hand Fingers and Thumb impressions (size:10 kb to 200 kb)
- Class 10 passed certificate in PDF format (file size: 50 kb to 300 kb)
- Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS etc.) in PDF format (file size: 50 kb to 300 kb)
- PwBD certificate in PDF format (file size: 50 kb to 300 kb)
- Citizenship Certificate/ Embassy Certificate or any Documentary proof of
- Citizenship certificate in PDF format (file size: 50 kb to 300 kb)
- He/she has completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or will complete that age on or before 31 December of the year of his/her admission to the first year of the Undergraduate Medical Course. Accordingly, the lower age limit shall be as under:
- For Candidates of General (UR)/General-EWS born on or before
- For Candidates of SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD Category 31.12.2006
- Upper age limit: As per Letter No. U-11022/2/2022-UGMEB, dated 09 March 2022 received from National Medical Commission (NMC), Under Graduate Medical Education Board (UGMEB) regarding the upper age limit, there is no upper age limit.

- Enter the system-generated ID and password to fill up the application form.
- Fill up the application form. Upload the documents.
- Pay the application fee. Download a copy of it for future reference.
- Candidates may note that if the photographs uploaded are found to be fabricated i.e. de-shaped or seem to be hand-made or computer-made, the application of the candidate will be rejected and the same would be considered as using Unfair Means and the candidate would be dealt with accordingly.
