Sri Krishnadevarya University College of Pharmaceutical sciences is a self- funding college with a motive to strengthen and upgrade the pharmacy curriculum to produce competent pharmacist workforce which is able to meet the growing demands of the industry and community. As a step towards this, College of Pharmaceutical Sciences was started at the University campus as a constituent college offering Master of Pharmacy Course from the academic year 2008-09, which happens to be the silver Jubilee year of the University for providing pharma education accessible and affordable to the rural people. In this age of continuous technological revolution and to extend the infrastructural, academic and research facilities of the University, three specializations in M. Pharmacy namely Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical chemistry & also Pharmaceutical Analysis are identified to give quality education to the needy and poor people of Rayalaseema region. The college also started B.pharmacy course from the academic year 2011-12 to meet the demands of the Pharma Industries and to provide quality pharmacists to the region and obtained approval by AICTE. Campus placements were also conducted every year for both M. Pharmacy & B. Pharmacy students.
