Dr. VRK Women’s Medical College, Teaching Hospital & Research Center offers an MBBS course specifically for girls, which was established in 2010-11 by the Dr VRK Educational Society. Dr. VRK Women’s Medical College is named after its founder and chief promoter, Dr. Vijayrat Rasool Khan, a prominent academic and reformist whose aim is to popularize education among minorities and integrate them into the national mainstream.
The Teaching Hospital with all the facilities provided under MCI’s regulations has been operating since 2006 and serves not only the surrounding villages but also the patients from the distant areas. This Women’s Medical College is exclusively for female students, but the staff and patients are men and women. Through a minority organization, the A.P. The rules applicable to the admission of students are governed by the State Government.
