Swami Raghwendracharya Tridandi Ayurved Mahavidyalaya is a private college and located in Gaya, Bihar. It is established in the year 1978. It is joined with Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur.
This Mahavidyalaya has been established in view of the growing rise in public sentiment and the impact on incurable diseases towards the world's oldest Ayurveda system of medicine which has succeeded in removing diseases that hinder the attainment of purusharth chaturthi| It is named after mahatma swami raghavendracharya tridandi ji, the most ascetic vaikuntha resident of yi adhoc and famous | Affordable and successful medicines should be available to the poor and resource less people of the rural areas near their homes|
Inspired by this spirit, The City's Mudhranya Danvir Seth Gangadhar Dalmiya, with the inspiration of jagadguru Swami Raghavacharyaji, the founder secretary of the college, resolved to set up a resourceful Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya, which has a complete system of reading as well as modern Ayurveda, There should be a hospital where people from different parts of the world can come and get health benefits to get rid of diseases through Ayurveda medicine and students studying can be imparted theoretical knowledge as well as practical knowledge|
To achieve this objective, this Mahavidyalaya was started in 1978 which is affiliated to Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur and approved by the Government of Bihar and approved under the Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi| |
The huge new building of the Mahavidyalaya is located outside the city in a clean and beautiful natural place adjacent to Karjra railway station| It has proper provision of an external and internal lying hospital as well as a mortuary for every exercise of the students
There is a provision for an annuity to introduce the students to the herbs| In which herbs have been planted as per the curriculum
B.A.M.S. (Ayurvedaacharya) As per the syllabus, each department has a museum rich in new and digestible instruments (model charts) as per the norms of the Central Council of Indian Medicine| The Department of Physiology and Diseases and Pathology has laboratories with all equipments and chemicals as per norms| The laboratory of disease and pathology provides for free testing of feces, urine, blood, purishadi of patients
B.A.M.S. (Ayurvedaacharya) As per the curriculum, the Mahavidyalaya has its own rich library with the objective of facilitating students and teachers to read and read in which efforts have been made to collect books written by different scholars on various subjects as much as possible
B.A.M.S. (Ayurvedaacharya) As per the syllabus, a chemistry equipped with modern equipment for the students studying is the specialty of this Mahavidyalaya
The Institute has adequate land through registry through Shri Subedar Singh, Shri Awadhesh Singh, Shri Ramshlok Singh, and Shri Ramnarayan Singh etc.
