KJR aspires to setup a higher bench marking center for Pharmacy education with the state-of-art technology and equipment to impart quality education and innovative thinking for research. We provide exemplary pharmacy and health care education, such as drug development systems and their uses. Students are taught how drugs are developed and used. On completion of this course of pharmacy, the students can excel in the fields of academic, research, marketing and industry.
KJR college of Pharmacy was established by the Veeravalli Sundaramma Educational Society. The founder of this college was Late Sri. Veeravalli John Jaya Rao garu. He was born in Dulla village near Rajahmundry in 1933. He worked in the Government services as a Gazzetted officer. He was involved in the establishment of Educational Institutions since 1973. He served this college until his last breath in 2007.This institute is currently being managed by Dr Veeravalli Daniel Ravindra Sundar, MBBS, MD, DGO, MRCOG (UK), formerly Assistant Professor in Andhra Medical college, King George Hospital, Visakhapatnam, and he is currently working in the United Kingdom. He stood Andhra University first and was awarded Dr. HM Lazarus Gold medal in MD for the year 1988. Throughout his career Dr Ravindra Sundar has been involved and interested in the education of students.
