The promoting body of all the Medical & Para Medical Instituitions is Laxmi Memorial Education Trust (R.).The Trust being a Family Trust was registered in the year 1991 in the memory of Late. Laxmi Shetty, mother of Mr. A.J Shetty, who is the President and Managing Director of the Trust. The Trust is accorded the recognition of linguistic minority trust by the Government of Karnataka.

Being the pioneer industrialist of South Kanara, Mr. A.J Shetty started his successful journey to the domain of excellence from a humble background. Laxmi Memorial Education Trust, prominently speaks volumes about Mr. A.J Shetty’s innate interest I the field of education and human resource development. Honoring his invaluable contribution to the field of education, the Governor of Karnataka had nominated him once as the Syndicate Member of the Mangalore University. Mr. A.J Shetty is also well known philanthropist. He is the governing body of several social and cultural organizations in and around Mangalore. He is the Managing Trustee of Kadri Sree Manjuneshwara Temle of Mangalore City.
